The short version
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, addresses or payment details, because there is nothing on this site to buy.
We do use analytics to understand which pages get read, and we serve third-party advertising. Both of those set cookies or similar identifiers. The detail is below.
What we collect
- Analytics data: pages viewed, approximate location at city level, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you.
- Server logs: IP address, request time and user agent, retained briefly for security and abuse prevention.
- Advertising identifiers: our advertising partners set cookies to measure and personalise ads. We do not control what they collect; see their policies, linked below.
- Anything you send us by email, kept only as long as needed to deal with it.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not require registration or store passwords, because there are no accounts.
- We do not collect payment information at all.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Advertising and third parties
This site is supported by advertising served by third-party networks. Those networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads based on your prior browsing.
