How MiniLuxe works, chain-wide - the same at this location.
- MiniLuxe asks clients to pre-book through its iOS or Android app, which also handles payment and self-checkout.
- Groups of four or more book through a request form, and a team member confirms within 24 hours; submitting the form is not itself a booking.
- Tools are sterilised in an in-house Clean Lab with medical-grade autoclaving, gloves are changed between services, and stations are disinfected between clients.
- California and Texas studios are cashless, taking cards, MiniLuxe gift cards and Apple Pay but no cheques.
- Pets are not allowed inside studios apart from service animals, and phone calls in studio are discouraged.

Questions
Why did my manicure cost more than the menu price?
Gel polish is normally an add-on, and removing an existing gel or extension set is usually a separate charge. Both are standard practice rather than an upsell.
Which number should I compare between salons?
The base manicure or pedicure without add-ons. Deluxe tiers include different things at every salon.
What is the difference between a fill and a full set?
A full set is new extensions on every nail. A fill fills the regrowth gap on a set you already wear and reshapes it, which takes less time and costs less. Sets are usually filled a few times before they are replaced.
Do I pay for removal if the set was done somewhere else?
At most salons, yes. Removal is charged as its own service because it takes chair time regardless of who applied the previous set.
How long does gel polish last?
Usually a couple of weeks on natural nails before the regrowth line shows, longer on extensions, which are then filled rather than redone.
How do I know a salon is hygienic?
Files, buffers and toe separators should be new or your own; metal tools should come out of a sealed sterilization pouch; pedicure basins should be pipeless or lined. Licenses are usually posted in the front of the salon.
Is gel bad for my nails?
The damage generally comes from removal rather than from the gel. Soaking off as directed, instead of peeling or picking, is what keeps the nail plate intact.
Should I tip?
Tipping the technician is customary in US salons and is never part of the published price. Some salons take it on the card, others prefer cash.
