About The NOW Massage
Massage-only boutiques offering three signature massage styles plus add-on enhancements, positioned as neighbourhood-spa quality without the time and cost of a full spa.
- Ownership
- Franchised
The Ritual Membership gives one or two massage credits a month for a 50 or 80 minute massage, with member rates on any additional massages or services. Prices and services are subject to change and are set per boutique.
Contract: No long-term commitment. A recurring-dues membership can be cancelled at any time with 30 days' written notice to the boutique where it was bought, in person or by email; where state law requires it, online cancellation is also available.
What a visit is like
- Arrive 15 minutes before the booked start time for check-in; a late arrival does not extend the session.
- Booking is online, through the app, or by phone. Walk-ins are welcome but booking ahead is recommended.
- A membership can be frozen for up to three months per membership year; billing stops during the freeze and allocated credits can still be redeemed.
- Minors aged 13 to 17 may be served, where state law permits, with written parent or guardian consent.
- Phones must be off or silent from check-in; the boutiques are open-plan.
Ways to pay less
- Unused membership credits roll over month to month and accrue indefinitely while the membership is active.
- Members can transfer up to three massage credits a year (six on the twice-monthly plan) to friends or family at their home boutique.
- Members can extend their member rate to a guest new to The NOW, meaning anyone who has not visited in the past 12 months.
- Members get 20% off in-store Nourish, Scent and Room products, plus access to the Ritual Collective partner perks.
Good to know
- Cancelling or rebooking with less than 12 hours' notice is charged at half the reservation to the card on file.
- A no-show, or arriving more than 15 minutes late, cancels the service and is charged at the full price of the booked service.
- After a membership is cancelled, unused credits expire three months later and are not refunded.
- Using membership benefits at a boutique other than your own may carry additional charges.
- Prices and services are subject to change at any time.
What you're paying for
Extras layered onto a booked session rather than sold on their own.
An add-on does not extend the session; it is delivered inside the time you already booked.
A booked massage session, priced by length and, at most chains, by whether you hold a membership.
Massage chains price on a two-tier model: a member rate and a walk-in rate, with the gap between them usually large enough to be the real product being sold.
- Membership status is the single biggest factor
- Session length (60/90/120 minutes)
- Franchise sets its own rates
Frequently asked
Do The NOW Massage prices vary by location?
Yes, The NOW Massage sets prices per location. These figures are the range and average across 100 checked locations, not a single national price.
Do The NOW membership credits expire?
Not while the membership is active: credits roll over month to month and accrue indefinitely. Once you cancel, you have three months to use what is left, and there are no refunds for unused credits.
How do I cancel a Ritual Membership?
With 30 days' written notice to the boutique where the membership was bought, in person or by email. Where state law requires it, you can also cancel through your membership profile online.
What is The NOW's late cancellation policy?
At least 12 hours' notice is requested to cancel or rebook. Inside that, half the reservation is charged to the card on file.
What happens if I arrive late?
The session still ends at its scheduled time. Arriving more than 15 minutes late cancels the service and the full price is charged.
Can I freeze my membership?
Yes, for up to three months per membership year. Billing pauses, perks are suspended, and already-allocated credits can still be redeemed by the member.
