What a visit is like
- A ZIPS Unlimited membership allows up to two washes a day, seven days a week, at any ZIPS location.
- Membership is tied to one vehicle by an RFID windshield sticker that opens the gate and triggers the right wash, or by licence plate reading at stores without stickers.
- Every wash includes free self-service detail amenities: vacuums and microfiber towels. ZIPS does not offer interior cleaning.
- An attendant guides the car into the tunnel; the car goes into neutral with hands off the wheel.
- Trailer hitches must be removed before the wash, and pickup beds must be empty of loose objects.
Ways to pay less
- Family Plan: one full-price membership plus up to eight discounted memberships, all in the same app garage account, and each vehicle can sit on a different wash tier.
- Family Plan vehicles do not have to wash at the same location, and each membership on the plan can carry its own card, or all can be billed to one.
- The app carries app-only deals, points on every purchase that redeem for free washes, a daily spin-to-win game, a referral programme and a free wash for downloading it.
- Fleet accounts are quoted individually for businesses.
Good to know
- One membership covers one vehicle only; reselling or transferring a plan or RFID sticker to another vehicle or person is prohibited, and dealer plates are not allowed on personal plans.
- A cancellation made less than 7 days before the billing date can still be charged for one more month.
- Prepaid memberships can only be cancelled in their first month; after that they are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
- Tire Shine is not available in Minnesota or North Dakota.
